53-46 vote - A margin too slim

This is reprinted from an email that has been circulating.  Please alert people about this!

The U.N. Resolution 2117 lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but perhaps of most interest is point number 11: “CALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION, DISARMAMENT ---”

HOORAY - 53-46 vote - The U.S. Senate voted against the U.N. resolution.
This is that brief, glorious moment in history when everyone stands around...reloading.

Now, Which 46 Senators Voted to Destroy Us? Well, let their names become known !! See below . If you vote in one of the states listed with these 46 “legis..traitors”… vote against them.
In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads: "To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty." The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. and had language that would have implemented aninternational gun registry, now get this, on all private guns and ammo.
Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.
Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.

Kristi Noem and Bengahzi

We must hold their feet to the fire. Rewarding the fumblers with extended paid vacations is certainly not the answer. Was Clinton too stupid to know these were not the people responsible, or is Kerry to stupid to know it? Is the State Department so unprofessional under this administration that people way down the totem pole makes these kinds of decisions, or were they the typical scape goats? NO OBAMA. We will not forget.

What We Believe About Guns

In our society today the opposition is quick and effective in their efforts to brand anyone of a different opinion as an extremist. This seems to add credibility to their cause while drawing attention away from the real subject. We, the people at TheLibertyDefenseProject.Org want you to know who we really are. We know that our video presentation of our position on self-defense and gun control we are setting ourselves up as high profile targets for our “government” that is here to protect us.

We, like our forefathers, simply believe that all citizens of the United States have a God given right to self-defense. We firmly believe in the 2nd Amendment, but we don’t believe it is just a right, we believe it is a duty of all able citizens to be armed and proficient in the use of the weapon they carry. We further believe that it is the duty of every parent to teach their children firearm safety and marksmanship.

Why would you as a parent want to leave something this important up to one of their peers that have never had any training? Far too many kids of today have played with guns in video games. They get points for killing and the only consequence is that the more they kill the more points they get and what and who they kill today is back on the screen later to be killed again.

In reality, guns are a beautiful tool that can be abused and they can be dangerous in the hands of the experienced or inexperienced, and what they kill today is still dead tomorrow and forever more.  If we teach our young people the safe method of handling guns, we take away the mystic of guns and we teach them the finality of death brought about with a gun. We refuse to leave this up to anyone other than ourselves. It is far too important an issue to bury our heads in the sand and hope it never happens to us or someone we love.

We here at TheLibertyDefenseProject.Org believe in the truth and we will always stand for it regardless of how bittersweet it may be.
